Our Offerings

Physical Exams

I'll complete a full physical examination - tip of the nose to the tail! We will discuss how your pet's heart and lungs sound, as well as evaluate their skin, coat and any lumps and bumps. For our older pets or those with a history of orthopedic issues, I'll evaluate them for arthritis and other postural discrepencies.

Vaccinations & Heartworm

I will get your pet up to date on vaccines that fit your pet's lifestyle. I'll provide vaccine information and schedule based on current research.  I can also do an in-home test for heartworms and provide preventatives.

Diagnostics

If your pet needs diagnostics, I will collect samples  during, or after your appointment. If needed, I send fecal, blood, urine and growth aspirate samples to the lab. I can also send out cultures for bacteria or fungus. Results sent to the lab will not be same day, but I have limited capacity to run simple, same-day tests.  We can also discuss if your pet requires same day tests.

Oral Health Exam

Is it time for a dental cleaning? Let's talk about our options! I will also discuss brushing techniques and other oral care options and preventative techniques.

Simple Ailments

Pet's don't talk, so it's hard to know when a condition is serious enough to warrant emergency medical attention. I have the capacity to treat simple ailments

  • Allergies

  • Hot spots

  • Urinary tract infections

  • Sneezing or coughing (that started within 24 hours)

  • Diarrhea and vomiting (less than 24 hours and still acting normal)

  • Small wounds or wounds on dogs/cats who will let you place a few sutures with mild sedation

  • Small abscesses

  • Limping but weight bearing

  • There are other treatments I can help you with, call me to discuss options.

Hospice Care/Euthanasia

"Pet's lives are too short. Their only fault, really "- Quote inspired by Agnes Turnbull, but she apparently only felt that way about "Dogs".

Tell me what you need in this difficult time. I'll help out in the best and only way I can. I can talk you through quality of life decisions. Together, we'll find a way to bring comfort to your pet and to you and your family.
